S. Crispino
St Crispin - patron saint of shoemakers

Our firm's logo reproduces a detail of one of the two altarpieces (representing Madonna and child between St Crispin and St Francis) completed by the Flemish painter Ernst van Shayck in 1617 for the church of San Pietro di Sassoferrato, which since 1550 has housed the altar of the "Confraternita dei Calzolari" (Brotherhood of Shoemakers), otherwise known as that "of St Crispin".

We as craftsmen turned to St Crispin for our inspiration, in the hope of preserving a sense of humility and industriousness during our professional lives.
